Privacy policy

This notice describes the current SignalCast preview, operated by Daniel Martin Shepherd, Jr. under the IMPL brand. See publisher details for the entity’s current status.

Information you provide

If you join the launch list, we store your email address, consent date and the wording version you accepted so we can send the requested launch invitation. Joining does not create a paid subscription. If you sign in through ChatGPT, the service uses your authenticated account identifier to keep your personal scorecard and watchlist private.

Scorecard records contain the proposition, your selected outcome, probability, optional reasoning, the market snapshot and date. Avoid sensitive personal information in notes. Watchlists contain your saved propositions. These private records are not published as SignalCast’s forecasting performance.

Analytics and session recordings

With your permission, we use PostHog to understand visits to public pages, analysis-link clicks and launch-interest submissions. Masked session recordings help us see navigation and layout problems. All inputs and text are masked; forms and images are blocked. Recording is excluded from the research terminal, where private scorecards and watchlists appear.

We do not send your launch-list email, scorecard notes, payment information or identity to PostHog. Analytics uses a random browser identifier and device/page information. Query strings are removed from captured page URLs. We honor Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track in this implementation. Choose “Essential only” or change your choice using “Privacy choices” to stop optional analytics.

Storage and service providers

Cloudflare and the Sites hosting service provide hosting and database infrastructure. OpenAI provides ChatGPT sign-in. PostHog processes optional analytics in its US region. Data may be processed in the United States and other locations used by these providers. We use access controls to separate private account records, but no service can promise perfect security.

Browser storage remembers your analytics preference and, if allowed, the analytics identifier. Authentication may use essential session cookies. We do not sell your personal information or use this preview to serve advertisements.

Payments

The current preview does not collect payment. Stripe is being prepared for a future subscription service; there is no active checkout here. Before paid subscriptions open, we will identify the confirmed merchant, renewal terms, cancellation process and payment-data handling. We will not request card details by email.

Public market data

Market prices, public wallet addresses, trades and position snapshots come from public providers. We preserve relevant observations and research records to assess our analyses. A wallet address is not treated as proof of a person’s identity, expertise or access to nonpublic information.

Your choices and retention

Request access, correction, deletion or removal from the launch list at daniel@inmypocketlabs.com. We may ask for reasonable verification before releasing or deleting private account data. We retain account records while needed to operate the service and honor your requests; records required for security, legal obligations or public forecast accountability may need separate treatment. Public forecasts are preserved as an editorial record.

Age and changes

SignalCast is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect children’s information. Material changes to this notice will be reflected in its updated date; new uses requiring permission will ask for it.
